#082 Spungus, #083 Fungreep, and #084 Shelfungos

A bit of a jump ahead in Pokédex numbers from the last ones--the ones in between the Anbell family and these guys were mostly critters I came up with later on to fill a big gap that didn't have much in it, after I had already drawn all the ones that I ended up getting drawn back in 2008-2009 when I was still working on these.

Anyway... these are creepy fungus things, and unlike almost every other evolution line in this bunch, ALL THREE OF THEM have names! And names that I'm fine with keeping the way they are, even.  Spungus is based mostly on the stinkhorn fungus, which resembles the pointy back part sticking up into the air (and can sometimes be found with a round white "spore-like" part underneath the ground, too... though never with an evil grin and tentacles like this little guy. XD)  The others are more mushroom-like, with Shelfungos (name deriving from "shelf fungus") kind of getting a bit of a hut or small pagoda look to its mushroom with the multiple layers it has.

Unfortunately no Pokédex entries or move lists for these guys, though I *do* remember that I intended Shelfungos to be able to learn Attack Order and such just like Vespiquen--the idea was that since it had grown so huge and had so many inner chambers of its multi-layer mushroom pagoda o' doom, a colony of bugs had moved in, and it could get them to attack opponents, protect it, and so on.
