#020-021: Ice Bunnies

Yet more unnamed made-up Pokémon from 2008-2009!

This time, it's a couple of Ice-type bunnies, basically sharing Rattata/Raticate status with the Sound-type bats I posted earlier.  Ice and Sound are actually opposing types; Ice-types resist Sound attacks, and Ice is one of Sound's two weaknesses (along with Poison.)  This is based on how sound tends to interact with snow (since the Ice type isn't limited to things that are literally icy, after all; it also covers snow, cold temperatures in general, and even completely unrelated phenomena like auroras that we just happen to associate with colder climates just because the parts of Earth that get them most often are the poles)--have you ever noticed that just after it snows, all sounds seem muffled and distant? Also, there's the old "loud noise causes avalanche" thing, too.  Basically the exact same logic that leads to most Pokémon resistances/weaknesses.
